This is really more about Lebron than Bosh or even Wade for that matter.
Wade place in NBA history is sort of settled and Bosh will be remember as the Horace Grant of the Heat. The player with the most to gain and most to lose over the next couple of years is Lebron.
He is so good, if they can run off 2 or 3 more titles, he would be in the discussion as one of the greatest players of all time. On the flip side of that if they are one and done in Miami you will always get the feeling they didn’t fully live up to their potential like the Atlanta Braves of the 90s.
Here is what Bosh had to say about becoming a dynasty courtesy of Slam Magazine.
‘Winning a championship is only the beginning for this group, and we have to look at it that way,’ Bosh said. ‘We have to look at it as we’re trying to have a dynasty. I think that’s the next thing. The only way you can do that is to have more than one championship. I look at it as a five- to six-year increment, where we’re trying to win as many as possible.’”
Good outlook, but I can pretty much guarantee you that five years from now, probably only one of the Big 3 will still be in a Heat uniform and it won’t be Bosh, but they need to focus on the task at hand and that repeating.
