The Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that Falcons running back Michael Turner was arrested and charged with driving under the influence hours after helping his team win a huge Monday night contest against the Denver Broncos.
Turner, 30, of Suwanee, was booked into the jail just after 5 a.m., and was released about two hours later on $2,179 bond, according to jail records.
Gwinnett police spokesman Ed Ritter said early Tuesday that he didn’t yet have details on Turner’s arrest.
Lt. Sean Smith of the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office said the traffic citation given to Turner shows he was pulled over for driving 97 mph in a 65 mph speed zone.
More on this story later.
Mr. Turner you know Mr. Goodell right.
