I have never wished failure on anyone.
I hope DeSean Jackson’s Jaccpot Records becomes the new Motown, but history tells us that is unlikely happen. The only thing I hope from a business perspective that Jackson isn’t being taking advantage of financially.
Don’t want to see him on BROKE 2 in ten years. Jackson in this report from Yahoo.com says his rapping is real and it doesn’t matter what you think.
“People always doubted me, It’s like the critics who say, ‘Why is he rapping?’ It’s cool; I’ll just keep proving them wrong.”
“Through the music, I think [people] will get to know me and the struggles I went through in life. I can give it to them on the tracks, so people can understand the real me.”
“Over the last five months, we’ve put together probably 120 tracks,”
“I’m a firm believer in having one life, and living that one life up.”
It is that last line that has bankrupted many of athletes. You have to remember your NFL life is only a small part of your total life, so as Bart Scott said on “BROKE”, you can live like a King for a year or a Prince for life.
Hope Jackson was watching.
