The beef gets real on opening night when the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics kick off the 2012-13 NBA season.
For now we’ll just listen to them talk.
Ray Allen has done enough talking for both teams.
Last week Allen confirmed that he was treated so bad by Boston, he had no choice but to leave.
Earlier during this week, Allen blamed Celtics President Danny Ainge for his rift with Rajon Rondo.
So Ray Allen is going to talk, and according to Comcast Sports Net Northeast, Celtics coach Doc Rivers is going to let Allen do all of the talking.
“I didn’t even know it, so I’m surprised right now,” Rivers said. “I never knew that, I don’t think [the trade rumor is] true.
“We’re just going to let Ray keep talking, it’s easier.”
I think the Boston Celtics have adopted the strategy that the more they let Ray Allen talk, the crazier and more disloyal he’ll seem.
Is it Tuesday yet.
