Wow it looks like China is the new place for rejuvenation, star treatment, and some quick money against inferior basketball competition.
Yahoo Sports via Marc Spears is reporting that former Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas is reportedly set to sign a one year deal in China to play with the Guandong Southern Tigers according to a source.
If Arenas makes the move, he will join the likes of Stephon Marbury, Tracy McGrady, and Allen Iverson, as former NBA players who have taken their talents to Asia.
Arenas should be alright in the finances department having made over $120 million.
He does have a $2 million wedding coming up so maybe he wanted some pocket change.
