Much has been made in the past 15 hours about why Celtics forward Kevin Garnett gave Ray Allen the cold shoulder.

After the Celtics loss to the Heat in Miami last night, Garnett was able to calm down a little and was able to do his post game interviews.

While speaking to the Boston Globe, Garnett was asked why he ignored Allen and chose not to reciprocate the greeting.

“You know what man, I was just trying to stay as neutral as I could but obviously I’m an intense person. Other than it was blank, I just saw the Heat uniforms and obviously he’s on the other side and I just tried to play the game, man.”

Garnett has been in the league a long time, and done thousands of post game interviews.

Did Kevin Garnett just insinuate that he was so focused on the task at hand, that he blanked, only saw Heat jerseys, and didn’t even know that was Ray Allen tapping him on the shoulder.

Here’s a clip of the cold shoulder, you be the judge.
