There has been an unusual amount of fan stabbings, shootings, fights and assaults at sporting events this year.

I don’t know if security needs to be beef up at these events, but something needs to be done. The latest incident was at the Syracuse University “Orange Madness” event at the Carrier Dome.

A 25-year-old man was stabbed in the arena concourse and is in stable condition at the hospital. No reason was given on what led to the stabbing.

The event shut down 30 minutes early because of multiple fights that had broken out.

Be safe out there fans.
