As a youngster I can fondly remember the times I saw Manute Bol play basketball whether it be for the Sixers or someone else.

Never an all star caliber player, he could shoot the occasional three, and was an all around great person.

Bol passed away in 2010 after some hard times, but left behind ten children.

One of those children, a son, may well be on his way to being a bigger phenomenon than his father ever could have dreamed of.

The Washington Post is reporting that Manute has a very talented son named Bol, that’s right Bol Bol is an extremely talented seventh grader living in the state of Kansas.

Reports are that he has some of his father’s natural defensive ability, with an offensive skill set that gets better by the day.

He reportedly can shoot the three, handle and pass well for someone his age.

Don’t be surprised you see Kentucky’s John Calipari in a Kansas high school gymnasium sooner than later.
