Bears coach Lovie Smith confirmed today that Matt Forte remains a game-time decision in tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup between the Bears and Cowboys.

Forte has been MIA since the Bears primetime loss to the Green Bay Packers in which he left with a sprainedĀ ankleĀ  but has participated in this weekend’s workout. If Forte remains out then Michael Bush is slated to start in his place.

The Bears as a team come in somewhat limping as Bush is nursing a shoulder injury, receiver Earl Bennett is questionable and Fullback Evan Rodriguez is out with a knee injury. The Bears are hoping to increase their lead in the NFC North, as the Packers right their ship and Lions continue to flounder.
