It’s kind of hard to get a good job when your potential employers are at liberty to know every bad move you make.
Deadspin is reporting that unemployed wide receiver Plaxico Burress was pulled over on a motorcycle in late September and given a ticket for $1000 after being caught doing 105 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Burress received the ticket in Broward County, Florida, where he and his wife own a home.
Burress will have to appear at November court date to resolve the ticket.
Even though he didn’t commit a serious crime, it’s never a good look as an aging wide receiver trying to get signed, to have people know your being reckless on a motorcycle.
Most team clauses wouldn’t even allow such activity.
Smarten up nas.
