Honestly, Smush should be happy that Kobe said he was the worst player in the NBA.  If he didn’t Smush wouldn’t be getting his 15 minutes of fame now.

Is there any reason in the world to talk to Smush Parker besides when Kobe name drops him?

After coming out and saying Kobe was a diva, he’s speaking more about the problems in their relationship. Pro Basketball Talk has some new quotes from Smush.

“What I don’t like about him is the man that he is. His personality. How he treats people. I don’t like that side of Kobe Bryant….

“The reason I wasn’t a Laker after my second year is because I didn’t bow down to [Kobe]. I didn’t kiss his a–. I wasn’t kissing his feet. Quite frankly, towards the end of the second season, I stopped passing him the ball. I stopped giving him the ball. I started looking him off.”

All this tells me is that Smush isn’t very bright.

You will never hear Kobe talk about Luke Walton in a negative light, it is all about respect. Everyone knows that Kobe hasn’t been the best teammate over the years, but he was the still the best player on the Lakers. If you are Smush Parker and the one thing you need to do to stay employed is keeping Kobe happy and you decide not to pass him the ball out of spite?  That isn’t the best way to achieve your desired goal.

Frankly, the reason Smush Parker was out of the league so fast was he wasn’t that good, let’s just be honest.
