Details are a little sketchy, but according to Deadspin here is what we know.

The deceased is named Michael Jones a 25 year old from Liverpool who was working for New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer as a youth mentor.

His body was found on the street with multiple stab wounds to neck and torso. One of his ears were cut off as well. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounce dead.

From my years of watching Forensic Files, this doesn’t sound like a random murder. The police are investigating and are looking for a man in a dark jacket with a ponytail.
