The only reason I don’t get on Victor Cruz about his Salsa Dance is because he says he does it to honor his late grandmother.

Hard to be critical when you know that is the reason why he is doing it.

The reality the Salsa TD Dance is played out like Hammer Pants and Victor Cruz knows it. After his three touchdown performance against the Browns here is what he had to say about a possible new trademark celebration.

“Stay tuned,” Cruz said after the Giants’ 41-27 win over the Browns at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. “I am not quite ready to let the cat out the bag, but there might be a little something.”

Cruz’s numbers are a little down from his record-breaking season of 2011, but he has proven he isn’t just a one year wonder.

In the NFL it is all about consistency and being dominant from year to year. That is what separates the Dez Bryants from the AJ Greens of the world.

Cruz is on the right path to the point he has outgrown his own TD dance.
