Utah Jazz forward Al Jefferson is a pretty good high level NBA player who will be a free agent this summer, and have a ton of suitors.

Jefferson is a walking double double, who can play with his back to the basket, and rebound with the best of them.

The Boston Celtics are an older group, and could use some young legs as they continue to try to stay relevant.

According to Comcast Sportsnet New England, Jefferson would love to return to Celtics green.

“This will always be my home away from home, first place I’ve been; gave me a chance when nobody else did,” added Jefferson. “If that (returning to Boston) ever happened, I’d love to do that again. But right now, it’s all about taking care of business and finishing the season off right.”

Boston has a ton of money wrapped up in Garnett, Rondo, Pierce, and Jeff Green, so unless Jefferson wants to be a Celtic for cheap, it probably won’t happen.

Crazier things have happened though.

I’m not sure Jefferson would want to be teammates with Green anyway after last night.
