America doesn’t like too many text messages and we won’t stand for it if we get too many.
Sounds stupid right?
Almost as stupid as Jerry Wojcik, a Buffalo Bills fan living in Tampa, sounds for attempting to sue the Bills over too many text messages.
Wojcik moved to Tampa in 2001 and wanted a way to stay up to date with his Buffalo Bills. He signed up to receive text messages directly from the Bills, a program that promises no more than 5 text alerts a week. Apparently though, the Bills didn’t understand that 5 and only 5 texts were acceptable.
According to buffalonews.com, Wojcik received 6 messages one week and a staggering 7 in another week.
While this case is obviously laughable, it seems fitting that the Bills would have to be the ones to deal with it.
As if their on-field product over the years hasn’t been bad enough, they can’t even count on fans to be loyal.
