Megatron has certainly struggled this season.

Only having one touchdown so far this season, many have been wondering what is wrong with Detroit’s superstar. Myself included as a Lions fan.

Johnson suffered a hard hit earlier this season from Minnesota’s Chad Greenway, and at the time claimed he suffered a concussion from the hit. While the Lions denied the concussion, apparently Johnson is still suffering from effects of the hard hit.

Per the Oakland Press: “Actually I had some nerve damage that was kind of messing up my grip a little,” Johnson said.

Not to blame that, but I think that the concussion could have had something to do with some of that damage I had going on.”

Johnson has missed several practices over recent weeks because of a knee injury. According to the Lions injury report, he has not had a concussion or any nerve damage this season.

As we all know, the NFL does not play when it comes to the injury report.

The Lions could find themselves owing the league a nice check for Johnson’s comments.
