Chris Paul Becomes Part Owner Of L.A. Professional Bowling Team

Pro athletes love to invest their hard-earned money into different ventures, some lucrative, and others that fail miserably.

L.A. Clippers point guard Chris Paul is a bowling fanatic, and each season host a celebrity bowling event for his charity.

ESPN L.A. reporter Arash Markazi is reporting that Paul has made an investment, and now is part owner of a professional bowling team.

Markazi: Paul, along with former Los Angeles Rams running back Jerome Bettis, Terrell Owens and Kevin Hart, became the first celebrity owners in the inaugural season of the Professional Bowlers Association’s PBA League.

“This is exciting for me and for the sport of bowling,” Paul told PBA.com. “I love PBA action, have enjoyed getting to know many of the top bowlers and look forward to my team competing for the first PBA League Elias Cup.”

Paul released his own statement on the joint venture, and his delve into professional bowling.
