David Wright Signs 7 Year $122 Million Extension With Mets

After plenty of posturing back and forth, David Wright may finally finish his career with the New York Mets.
The New York Post is reporting that Wright and the Mets have reached agreement on a 7 years $122 million extension that includes the $16 million he was due to make next season.
All total Wright is locked up for 8 years and close to $140 million.
The 30 year old Wright is the Mets cornerstone, and will keep him in New York until 2020.
