Heat guard Dwyane Wade tried to tough it out during a recent game in L.A. against the Clippers.

Not sure if it was the national TV audience, or just playing against lob city, but Wade probably should have sat that one out.

Hindsight being what it is, Wade should have sat that game out.

He eventually would go on to miss two games after that.

Wade admits to the Sun-Sentinel, if he could do it again, he would have sat that game out.

“I didn’t do myself any justice playing in that (Clippers) game,” Wade said after Monday’s practice. “I could have used the extra rest, and maybe I could have been back by the Phoenix game on the road, or I really could be ready going into the game Wednesday (versus Milwaukee).”

Wade is now listed as day-to-day heading into Milwaukee.
