Andy Reid should have started cutting players instead of firing coaches, but it all may be a little to late.
The Newark Star Ledger is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles have just released pro bowl defensive end Jason Babin.
Babin who made the pro bowl last season, had 5.5 sacks in a truly disappointing season.
Reid released a statement a short time ago.
“We appreciate everything that Jason has given this team over the last couple of years. We wish him all the best as he continues his career,” said Andy Reid on the release. “By releasing him today, this gives us an opportunity to give more playing time to some of younger guys in the defensive line rotation.”
Expect more changes.
