It is now week 10 in the NFL and you are either very excited about their team or making crazy trades to try and make a playoff push. There is still time to make a push for the playoffs and remember all bets are off once u get in the tournament, so don’t give up on your teams just yet. Well without further ado here is my advice for week 10.
Put me in the Game Coach
Reggie Wayne – Quietly Mr Wayne is leading the NFL in receiving yards and the addition of Andrew Luck to the Colts has given him the fountain of youth. With the Jaguars this week he does have a favorable match up and should feast this week.
Owen Daniels – With the Bears looming this week, There wont be very much to offer as they have a very stingy defense. But where the Bears have a weakness is there is one, is defending the middle of the field. Urlacher is going to be a first ballot hall of famer but he is not the cover guy he has been since the knee injury. Look for Schaub to look for him early and often.
Eric Decker – Decker has scored a touchdown in 5 straight games and Peyton is hitting his stride playing MVP-like through mid season. Although Demaryius Thomas is still the obvious number one option in town, but Peyton trusts Decker in the redzone and he runs crisp routes. Panthers this week is a favorable matchup and he should perform well.
The Atlanta Falcons offense – Yeah. I went there. They play the Saints this week and although they were successful against the Eagles these guys are going to bring them back down to earth, and the real Saints defense will show up again. They are running the ball well, they have two number one recievers, a hall of fame tight end. Saints really need this game so Brees will have his best foot forward, and this game will be a shootout.
Put me on the Bench Coach
Matt Forte – Texans don’t allow rushing touchdowns. Period.
Jeremy Maclin – Cowboys are pretty good against the pass. They rush the quarterback and have two solid corners. They are giving the least amount of fantasy points to receivers this year.
Danny Amendola – I know all of you are excited to have him back this week, but against the 49ers I don’t think this is the week is the week to start him.
Jamaal Charles – The Chiefs have been struggling and a lot of that is due to poor quarterback play and people are stacking up against him and forcing Brady Quinn/Matt Cassel to win. Pittsburgh is getting back to Steeler football. They are getting healthy and ready to make that playoff push and the Chiefs don’t stand a chance.
Waver Wire Warriors
Emmanuel Sanders – Antonio Brown is out. Sanders has played well when either Mike Wallace or Brown have been out. Available in most leagues. Good match-up this week against the Chiefs.
T.Y. Hilton – He has become the Colts deep threat this year and is producing week in and week out. They play the Jaguars this week and he should be in for another solid week in the books.
Taiwan Jones/Chris Ivory – With injuries for both the Saints and Raiders these two guys proved last week they can handle the load. If you have Darren Sproles or Darren McFadden it might be wise to pick this guys up until you figure out what happens with these injuries.
