I was going to write about all the reasons this is ridiculous, but decided to point to one stat.

37%

That is Jeremy Lin’s shooting percentage with the Rockets, just remember that while you read these ludicrous quotes by Lin.

“I was a little surprised, but I wasn’t shocked. I honestly feel it’s part of the underlying issue of race in American society … of being an Asian-American. …I haven’t figured it out. I haven’t wrapped my head around it. But it’s something I’m thinking about.”

“I’ve always been a target,” Lin says. “Everyone looks me and says, ‘I’m not going to let that Asian kid embarrass me. I’m going to go at him.’ That’s how it’s been my whole life. This has been different, though. Now, I was on the scouting report. People started to pay attention to what I could and couldn’t do.

“But a target? I was used to that. I’m not saying I get everyone’s best shot, but I would say people don’t want to be embarrassed by me because of my skin color.”

Jeremy Lin could be an Avatar, the FACTS are besides an outstanding one month run with Knicks he has been an average player at best player.

The fact he is using the race card as an excuse should be of great concern to the Rockets, because that means he is in denial about the huge holes in his game.

He also ignores the fact his race was also a huge factor in his popularity. Let’s not pretend if he wasn’t Asian-American he would have a $29 million contract right now.

So, man up Jeremy, stop your whining and stop air balling 3 pointers when you team needs you.

And at the same time RACE is what brought you out from obscurity… If an another average black guard was playing at the same level as LIN when he blew up nobody would have cared, but because it was hot Asian kat, it was bigger news that it was supposed to be, which made him big, inturn showing his true colors..(average player) Not to hate, dude balls better than me, but he is not even top 30 guards in the NBA
