Jerry Jones Says DeMarco Murray Is Cleared To Play

The Dallas Cowboys are still scratching at an outside shot at the playoffs.

Any shot of them making the playoffs will definitely hinge on the health of running back DeMarco Murray.

ESPN Dallas via Jerry Jones is reporting that Murray looks good and is cleared to play.

“It looks like that, we’ll see how well he responds (Friday),” Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said on his weekly radio show on KRLD-FM. “The key day was (Thursday), he came back better than (Wednesday), which was his first day out and usually that’s a leveling off or setback day.”

“We’ll see how he does in the next couple of days,” Jerry Jones said. “It looks like we’ll have him.”

The Cowboys running game is absolutely anemic with Murray, but we’ll have to see if he can remain healthy down the stretch.
