I would err on the side of caution if I was the Lakers.

It is long season, no need to risk further injury by bringing Nash back too soon. Nash will be an essential part of the Lakers coming out of this funk whenever he does come back.

The Lakers announced it will be another week before Nash can return. He has been doing light drills, but better to be safe than sorry.
