MRI Negative on Broncos' DE Elvis Dumervil's Shoulder | Robert Littal Presents BlackSportsOnline

MRI Reveals No Shoulder Tear for Broncos’ Elvis Dumervil

by Al Bruce | Posted on Monday, November 12th, 2012

Per the Denver Post, an MRI performed Monday on Broncos’ defensive end Elvis Dumervil did not show a tear in Dumervil’s left shoulder.  Dumervil injured the shoulder towards the end of the first quarter of yesterday’s 36-14 victory over Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.  While Dumervil is still questionable for this week’s game against the Chargers, his negative MRI is nonetheless good news for a 6-3 Denver team that appears to have finally hit its stride with Peyton Manning.  The Broncos get the Chargers, Chiefs, Bucs, and Raiders before heading to Baltimore for a Week 15 game that could decide the AFC’s second playoff seed behind the Texans.
