What would the sports world and social media would do if the Lakers could lure Phil Jackson back from Montana to grace the sidelines in L.A. again.

The Lakers shook the sports world today by firing Mike Brown hours after giving him a vote of confidence.

The question now is who might replace Brown.

Stan Van Gundy is probably not an option.

Brian Shaw laughed it off with a no comment.

What about Lakers legend Phil Jackson.

Jackson was pushed out after a terrible first round exit to the Mavericks two season summers ago.

Could the Lakers talk Phil into it.

Mark J. Spears of Yahoo Sports says it’s a possibility.

According to sources close to Jackson, it could be a good situation.

Question is would his heart be in it, and would he even be interested after basically being pushed out 2 summers ago, because Jim Buss wanted to put his stamp on the organization.

If Jackson were to be brought back, would someone in the organization essentially have to admit to making a mistake by getting rid of him in the first place.
