The Philadelphia Eagles are finishing up this season badly, and will probably culminate in this being his final season in Philadelphia.

For weeks the speculation has been about when Andy Reid would be fired.

That speculation can now be put to rest.

NFL Network is reporting that Reid will not be fired in season, and that he’ll get the full season to finish out.

Reid will be evaluated at the end of the regular season and not a moment before that.

I never expected Andy Reid to be fired mid-season like some coaches or to resign.

He doesn’t come off like a quitter, and he’s accomplished too much here as a coach to be treated with anything other than respect.

I just wish he would have started cutting players weeks earlier.
