Rajon Rondo Suspended 2 Games For Role In Brawl With Nets

Well David Stern still knows how to react fast.

Celtics Blog via Greg Payne of ESPN is reporting that point guard Rajon Rondo has been suspended 2 games for his role in last night brawl that also involved Kevin Garnett and the Nets Kris Humphries.

Payne: Again, Rajon Rondo’s been suspended 2 games by the NBA, according to Danny Ainge, who’s on WEEI right now.

As we reported yesterday, Rondo felt the need to come to the defense of Kevin Garnett who he felt was fouled to hard by Humphries.

I’m more disappointed in the fact that Rondo’s double-digit assist streak was snapped.
