Rondo Loves Tha Kids!!!
Today, on his day off, Boston Celtics Point Guard Rajon Rondo took the time to teach high school algebra to freshman students at Burke High School, and also stressed the importance of education in a visit to students at Harbor Middle School. As reported by TMZ he planned the visits himself without the assistance or encouragement of a public relations professional.
It’s great to be able to see/post a story about an athlete doing positive things in the community. Acts like these happen more often than not and mainly go un-noticed. So kudos to Rondo, and all the other athletes who are actively giving back to the community without fanfare and recognition.
