The defense has gotten worst since they fired defensive coordinator Juan Castillo. The threw Castillo under the bus while totally ignoring the fact that turnovers and suspect play calling put their defense in terrible positions.

Now, they are realizing their troubles are fair greater than Castillo. The dreaded anonymous sources are speaking up according to Pro Football Talk.

According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, at least one member of the Eagles’ staff feels the decision to fire Castillo was a mistake. Per the report, one of the Eagles’ “decision makers” called the firing “a miscalculation.”

The Eagles technically aren’t out of the Wild Card or even division race, but they falling apart from the inside out.  Not a lot of time to pull things together.
