Steelers Ryan Clark Doesn’t Agree With Ed Reed’s Suspension

Normally you couldn’t find a Pittsburgh Steeler player who would agree or take up for a Baltimore Ravens player.

In this case I think Steelers safety Ryan Clark can empathize with Ravens all pro safety Ed Reed being suspended and fine a game check for blows to the head.

Clark spoke out via twitter of course, to voice support for Reed, and let people know he doesn’t agree with the suspension.

@RealRClark25  :  Tough on Ed getting suspended. I can’t say that I agree w that. It was a penalty but I don’t believe he was intentionally trying to harm E.
The league is moving in a direction that emphasises safety, and the perception that it’s a safe league.
The fact that the league chose to fine and suspend one of the all time greats, and generally clean tough player, says all you need to know.
