Another gem matchup that Thursday Night Football has blessed us with, Dolphins @ Bills. *sarcasm*
But in all seriousness the AFC still remains very wide open, so this very much was a game with meaning. The gist of this was very simple though, special teams were the key.
Bills took the early lead with a touchdown 1 minute and 23 seconds into the game by Leodis McKelvin. The Dolphins reacted with a touchdown of their own from Marcus Thigpen off a punt return.
CJ Spiller was the Bills most dynamic piece as he exploded for 22 yards rushing and kept the chains moving for Buffalo. Dolphins trailed 19-7 to the Bills the majority if the game until Tannehill came through to pull the Dolphins within 5 in the 4th quarter.
The Bills held on and now have a 4-6 record to take them out of last place in the AFC East and right into 2nd. While neither team is expected to go onto the post season, this was by far the most entertaining Bills/Dolphins game in some time.
