Tony Romo Stops Contract Extension Talks, So He Can Concentrate on Season

While I commend Tony Romo on being a team player and focusing on the season, this is a dumb move by him. If for whatever reason the Cowboys tank the rest of the year, there might not be as much money on the table.

But, according to Pro Football Zone, Romo wants to focus strictly on saving the Cowboys season which is commendable.

Another way of looking at it is Romo may want out of Dallas, so he doesn’t want to lock himself into an extension without exploring all of his options.
