Fresh off of a stinging defeat to the Giants in the World Series, the Detroit have kicked off free agency, by reloading and preparing to go at it again.
USA Today is reporting that the Tigers and outfielder Torii Hunter have agreed on a 2 year $26 million contract.
The 37-year-old Hunter spent his last 5 seasons in Anaheim, and rejected offers from Atlanta and Texas respectively.
Hunter was reportedly blown away by Tigers brass, and felt no need to make any more visits.
