Garrett Reid died of a Heroin overdose during Eagles training camp and it isn’t unusual for drug addicts to have several different drugs on them at the time of their death.
The issue with Reid was that at the time he was serving as a strength and conditioning coach for the Eagles, so to be found with steroids as it is being reported by the700level.com has to be a concern.
Tom Shertell reporting for the Express-Times:
During the initial investigation, police quickly eliminated the vials as a cause of death, but Morganelli said last month he sent five samples for testing as he began tying up the loose ends of the case after formally announcing Oct. 18 that Reid died of a heroin overdose.
Authorities have identified the substances in some of the vials as steroids, sources said.
It doesn’t mean that Reid was providing steroids to Eagles players, but it is something that should be investigated.
