USA Today via the Associated Press is reporting that Buffalo Bills oft injured running back Fred Jackson will miss the rest of the regular season with a sprained ligament in his right knee.
Jackson’s knee won’t require surgery, but he will miss between two and four weeks.
Chan Gailey released a brief statement on the matter.
“It’s not good. It’s a minimum of two to three weeks. That’s what I was told. Something could change this morning and it could be a better prognosis, but I was told it looks like it’ll be a two- or three-week deal,” he said, according to the team’s website.
Jackson missed 2 games earlier this season with a sprained knee.
