The Giants are still in 1st place in the NFC East. Someone should have told Richard Braccia that before he decided to go Rambo on his wife and the police.

Braccia’s wife called police after he threw her up against a wall and kitchen counter because he was upset about the Giants losing to the Redskins on MNF.

According to Channel 2 News in Orlando Braccia’s wife told police, “There was going to be a shootout at their residence.”

Braccia who had been drinking all night (not surprisingly) was loading up his guns when police arrived. He came outside and fired at them with three weapons including an AK-47 assault riffle. The gunfire struck one patrol car and blew out the window of a black truck.

Most of the neighborhood had to be evacuated. The good news was his wife was able to escape and eventually he was arrested without incident. It could have been a lot worse.
