2 weeks ago the New York Giants were rolling towards another NFC East crown. Today the Giants have lost 2 games in a row, blown out in both, and now on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs.
The Giants can still make the playoffs with a win Sunday and a lot of help. One Giant in particular is not pleased with how they are ending the season, and as Jason Pierre-Paul told the New York Daily News, “We Pissed On Our Own Legs.”
“Do we deserve it by the way we played? Do we?” Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul said, via the New York Daily News. “I don’t think so, man. We went out there and pissed on our legs. That’s really all I can say.”
“Guys have just got to find their hearts and rise to the occasion, which we’re not doing,” Pierre-Paul said. “We’re iffy, man, and I don’t like that.”
Defensive players Osi Umenyiora, Cory Webster and Justin Tuck all left the facility without speaking to the media. The G-Men basically showed you how hard and emotionally draining winning a world championship and trying to repeat is.
