It is obvious that the families were close and Jerry Brown’s family have been very supportive of Josh Brent. Regardless of Brent’s actions immediately after the crash, no one will argue that this was a tragic accident.

Jerry Brown’s mother is a stronger person than I am, because I don’t know if I would be able to ride with the man who killed my child even if it was an accident.
