Manny Pacquiao’s Mom Blames Loss On Him Changing Religion

Let’s take a step back for a minute.

Before Marquez vs. Pacquiao 3, Pac was having all type of issues with his wife Jinkie. She was threatening to leave him and just hours before the fight she was refusing to leave her hotel room to go to the arena. She made Pacquiao promise to change his lifestyle or they were finished.

Pacquiao won that fight against Marquez (many thought he loss), but from that point on he changed religions (from Catholic to Protestant), gave up drinking, women, gambling and basically turned into Tiger Woods after his wife swung at him with a 9 Iron.

Since that happened Manny has suffered two losses the last of course in devastating fashion to Juan Manuel Marquez in their 4th meeting.

Manny’s mother thinks it was the switch of religions is the reason he took the L.

“That’s what he gets for changing his religion …” Pacquiao’s mother, Mommy Dionisia, said via Inquirer Global Nation. “Since the ‘Protestant’ pastors came into his life, he has not focused on his boxing.”

I wouldn’t go as far to blame God for Manny losing, but I do believe his focus is not 100% on boxing plus he is old in Boxing years.  Many people are just aware of Pacquiao over the last couple of years, but he has been boxing since he was 16 and has been in some wars.  Father time is undefeated.

Whatever the problem he needs to get it corrected or he will continue to end up face first on the canvas.
