As we reported a few weeks ago UFC President Dana White is interested in using a large venue to host the epic matchup between Georges St. Pierre vs Anderson Silva.

If this reported about St.Pierre’s asking price is correct, White may need the biggest stadium he can find.

Mixed Martial Arts via Mike Straka is reporting from a source close to St. Pierre that GSP wants $50 million large to fight Silva.

Straka: “I was told by somebody very close to Georges that Georges today makes close to $8 million a fight. So to fight Anderson Silva he’s going to ask for $50 million.”

That’s a record amount for most boxers let alone a UFC fighter, so Straka was asked again about the amount.

Straka:“Because he said that Georges has 10 fights left in his career at $8 million a fight. But he believes that Anderson could actually hurt him, could physically hurt him and end his career. So to take that chance he wants $50 million and that’s exactly the number he’s going to go to Dana White with.”

Has GSP been hanging out with Floyd Mayweather or something.

I don’t know about such a number.
