NFL: Cincinnati Bengals at Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid has made it clear regardless of what Jeffrey Lurie does, he intends to coach in 2013.

Don Banks of Sports Illustrated is reporting a scenario that could possibly see Reid heading down south to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Banks is reporting that Jags owner Shahid Khan will probably fire current head coach Mike Mularkey and wants to make a splash in the coach corners.

“Mularkey was seen as a safe coaching choice last year, but owner Shahid Khan is thought to be looking to make a bolder, splashier move for a franchise in need of new energy and new direction,” writes Banks.

“On the coaching front, soon-to-be ex-Eagles coach Andy Reid and Alabama’s Nick Saban are two big names being floated, but both would come at a hefty cost, if they were even interested in the Jaguars.”

Again its a report and only speculation, as Reid’s name will be high on every opening.
