Well all the Jon Gruden, Mike Holmgren, and Sean Payton to Dallas rumors can cease and desist at least for the next year. Jay Glazer of Fox Sports and NFL Network reported today on the Fox NFL Sunday pregame show, that Garrett is safe and will return to the Cowboys next season.

“Take his name off the hot seat. He is safe,” Fox Sports insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer said of Garrett on Fox’s Sunday pregame show.

Glazer reported that Garrett’s handling of the Josh Brent and Jerry Brown tragedy helped solidify his standing with the franchise.

Glazer was then asked what if the Cowboys blow the final 2 games of the regular season?

“(Garrett) will absolutely be back,” Glazer responded.

The Sean Payton to rumors can continue elsewhere.
