The Baltimore Ravens fired offensive coordinator Cam Cameron last week in a move that helped appease Joe Flacco and was supposed to improve a continually inept offense.
This week, according to Larry Brown Sports via Jay Glazer of Fox NFL Sunday, reports are that Ravens players had been complaining for a while about Cameron, and were not shocked he was fired.
Glazer reported that Ravens players have been trying to get a change in coordinator for about a year now. Ravens players reportedly went to coach John Harbaugh and upper management to complain.
Ravens players reportedly were also frustrated that Cameron would not change or make adjustments to game plans when they were not working.
Glazer reported that a few weeks ago ownership finally asked for the ax to come down on Cameron, and that Harbaugh actually helped Cameron keep his job as long as he did.
