The New York Jets disaster of a season is finally over but questions still remain regarding the use and signing of quarterback Tim Tebow.
Ryan used Tebow on one play in Sundays loss to the Buffalo Bills and was asked about why he didn’t use him yesterday and for most of the season.
According to Larry Brown Sports, Ryan said everything short of explaining that he pretty much has no faith or confidence in Tebow as a quarterback.
“No, I made the decision. It was my decision to stay with Sanchez,” Ryan said whenasked if he considered starting Tebow against Buffalo. “I was the only one who made that decision. It’s on me, and obviously it didn’t work out the way I wanted it to.
“If I thought Tebow would have helped us win the game playing quarterback or defensive tackle. I would have played him.”
Simply put the experiment was a disaster, and Rex can now proceed to getting himself a productive quarterback and some skill positions to go with it.
