Broncos:26
Raiders:13
Another ‘rousing’ David vs Goliath type TNF matchup, this time featuring two AFC West teams.
The Raiders and Broncos met in Oakland to duke it out. The Broncos held control all game long. From the beginning Manning wasted no time going down the field and scored a TD–his 30th of the season.
The only true break the Raiders got was a rare redzone interception by Manning, which was picked up by Matthew Willis. Carson Palmer then proceeded to take the Raiders down the field for a TD of their own bringing the game to 13-7.
After the half though, the Broncos broke away from the slumping Raiders. Manning ultimately threw for 310 yards going 26 for 36 in the process. This is the Broncos 8th straight victory and gives them a 10-3 record as they now play for seeding having already clinched the division. Currently the Broncos sit comfortably in the 2 seed in the AFC right below the Texans.
The Raiders meanwhile, have a 3-10 record and a 6 game losing streak going on. The AFC West continues to be the weakest division in the sport.
