Tony Romo Played With Crack Rib Against Redskins

Talk about adding insult to injury.

Besides throwing the interception that cost the Cowboys an opportunity to go to the playoffs, Romo according to Pro Football Zone was playing with a crack rib.

In the 2nd quarter he took a shot from Redskins corner Josh Wilson and was slow to get up.

No word if the Cowboys knew how severe the injury was or if Romo just didn’t let on, but the fact is he was hurt. He wasn’t hurt enough to come out of the game, so no excuses for poor performance, but it should be noted even with a cracked rib he answered all the questions from media after the game.
