The young Cleveland Browns are fighting hard even though the wins may not be piling up. Change is a coming in Cleveland, and you can expect a new general manager, and probably head coach.
The Browns have potential and it starts at the running back position with #3 overall pick Trent Richardson. Richardson who is tied for 2nd in the NFL with 11 rushing touchdowns, spoke to USA Today and said the Browns are focused on the future.
“We’re playing to play football because that’s what we love to do. We don’t want to embarrass ourselves, and we don’t want to embarrass anyone on our coaching staff,” Richardson said on a conference call Wednesday afternoon.
“Coach Shurmur’s got a plan, and for what he’s been doing, we’ve been making a lot of progress. If they switch coaches, that’s on them. That’s not on me to speak of. I don’t know what they’re going to do upstairs.”
