49ers QB Colin Kaepernick Files Trademark for “Kaepernicking”
Colin Kaepernick took a page out of Ravishing Rick Rude’s playbook when he adapted the “kiss your own bicep” celebration (sorry Scott Steiner) and the internet dubbed the move “Kaepernicking”.
Not one to lose out on an opportunity to make lose out on some money, the young quarterback has taken the appropriate action to protect his ability to earn off his name.
Correction: Colin Kaepernick has applied to trademark “Kaepernicking.” It hasn’t officially been trademarked. #49ers

Smart move by the kid, even if “Kaepernicking” is a mouthful to say and will probably go the way of Tebowing and Griffining.
Speaking of Rick Rude, I would pay good money to see Kaepernick show up at Super Bowl media day wearing tights with his airbrushed face on the front. I also think he should nickname a run up the middle “The Colin-oscopy”Powered by Sidelines
