Aaron Rodgers Says Peyton Manning Should Be MVP
NFL players don’t get a say in who is given the league’s regular season highest honor, but if they did, Aaron Rodgers admitted that league MVP clearly comes down to two players but admitted to USA Today Sports his vote would be for Peyton Manning.
Rodgers said he understands he’s not in the running this year, and that the 2012 MVP will come down to two players: “Adrian or Peyton.”
“You’ve got to go with the quarterback,” Rodgers said.
I wonder if the fact that AP has had a field day running against the Packers defense this seaon (over 400 yards in two games), or that he will face him this weekend in the 1st round of the playoffs affected his opinion any?
I’ve actually gone back and forth myself with my MVP pick, but finally came to the conclusion that after coming 9 yards shy from setting a new NFL record I have to go with Adrian Peterson for MVP and Peyton Manning for Comeback Player of The Year.Powered by Sidelines
